Name of Company: Ideal&CO
Job Title: Content Creator / Photographer

Duration: 3 months
Company Description
Ideal&Co – Living Heritage is a boutique leather goods brand based in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. With roots dating back to 1959, the brand stands out for its timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, and commitment to using premium, locally sourced materials. From backpacks and messenger bags to refined small leather goods, each piece is thoughtfully made in Portugal.
Located on Rua Barão do Corvo, the showroom offers a warm, personalized experience—often guided by the founders themselves. Visitors consistently praise the attention to detail, the intimate atmosphere, and the rich storytelling behind each product. Ideal&Co is also an active presence in the Portuguese creative scene.
Role Description:
During this 3-month Erasmus+ placement as a Content Creator at Ideal&CO, you will play a key role in visually expressing the brand’s identity through photography, video, and storytelling. You must have a strong understanding of the brand’s aesthetic—rooted in heritage, minimalism, and craftsmanship—and be able to translate it into content that feels authentic and refined.
Your responsibilities will include creating high-quality content in various environments: capturing the beauty of our products in outdoor locations around the city, documenting the artisanal process in the studio, and producing visual material for social media, website, and marketing campaigns. Occasional studio-based work will be required to follow production stages and support the creative team on-site.
You’ll work closely with the founders to maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual consistency, while also contributing creative ideas that align with our storytelling and values.
Required Applicant Profile:
- Proven experience in content creation, with a strong portfolio (photo and video)
- Excellent visual storytelling skills – photography, videography, and editing
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Passion for craftsmanship, design, and slow fashion
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a small, creative team
- Experience with lifestyle or heritage brands is a plus
- Bonus: familiarity with e-commerce (Shopify), branding, or content strategy
