Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Louth
Company: Access Healthcare
Location: Co. Louth
Setting: Social Care Settings
Contract: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible Hours Available)

Access Healthcare is recruiting dedicated and empathetic Healthcare Assistants for social care settings across Louth. This is a great opportunity for HCAs looking for flexible agency work, consistent hours, and supportive environments.

Role Overview

You will support service users in social care environments, promoting independence, safety, and wellbeing. This role involves working with individuals with varying support needs while contributing to a positive and empowering care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support service users with daily living activities

  • Promote independence and person-centred care

  • Assist with mobility, personal care, and community participation

  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment

  • Follow care plans and report any changes to senior staff

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support/ social studies (minimum of 3 core modules)

  • Experience in social care or healthcare settings

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable

  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
