Full job description

Limerick City and County Council invites applications from suitably qualified persons, who wish to be considered for inclusion on a panel from which temporary and permanent vacancies for Library Staff Officer may be filled throughout the lifetime of the panel.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality library services across Limerick, contributing to vibrant, inclusive and community-focused spaces.
Working under the direction of the Executive Librarian, Senior Executive Librarian, or other designated senior officer, the successful candidate will, lead and support staff in delivering excellent library services, contribute to the development and implementation of service plans and initiatives & ensure the effective operation of library services in line with organisational goals.
