Job Title: Team Lead – Sales Support

Department: Sales

Reports To: Head of Sales, Ireland

Location: Sandyford, Co. Dublin

Role Purpose

The Team Lead – Sales Support is responsible for leading, developing and continuously improving the Sales Support function, with responsibility for the day to-day leadership, performance and development of the team. Working closely with the Head of Sales, Ireland, External Sales Managers, Credit and Operations, the role will ensure the team delivers an excellent service while developing the people, processes and ways of working needed to support the Company's continued growth. The successful candidate will encourage continuous improvement, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience, and build a high-performing team that can adapt and grow alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership, direction and day-to-day management of the Sales Support team, fostering a high-performing, accountable and collaborative culture.
  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probationary reviews, objective setting, coaching, performance management and employee development.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and support the ongoing development and wellbeing of team members.
  • Plan and manage team workload, capacity and annual leave to ensure the consistent delivery of service standards.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for the Sales Support team, customers and reseller partners. Review and approve new reseller applications in line with Company procedures.
  • Identify and promote cross-selling and business development opportunities in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Develop and implement improvements to processes, procedures and ways of working that enhance efficiency, consistency and customer experience.
  • Monitor team performance, service levels and operational activity, ensuring objectives are achieved and opportunities for improvement are identified.
  • Build, manage and develop strong relationships with key customers and reseller partners, ensuring a consistently high standard of service and support.
  • Build strong working relationships with Sales, Credit, Operations and other internal stakeholders to support the effective delivery of business objectives.
  • Prepare and present management information, operational reports and performance updates as required.
  • Working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, GDPR, Company policies, Group governance standards and applicable legislative requirements relevant to the role.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and support high-performing teams.
  • Experience within asset finance, leasing, banking or financial services. Strong understanding of leasing documentation, sales administration and operational processes.
  • Experience supporting direct and indirect sales channels, including reseller and broker relationships.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities that support business growth.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong digital literacy, with the ability to confidently navigate business, financial and reporting systems, quickly adapt to new technologies, and use digital tools to improve efficiency and support business performance.

Key Accountabilities & Performance Measures

The success of the Team Lead – Sales Support will be measured against the following key accountabilities and performance measures:

  • Delivery of agreed Sales Support service levels and operational performance standards.
  • Develop and execute key account strategies that strengthen reseller, broker and customer partnerships, delivering sustainable portfolio growth and increased customer lifetime value.
  • Achieve agreed revenue, volume, profitability and portfolio growth targets across the key account portfolio.
  • Timely and effective onboarding of new reseller partners. Delivery of a high standard of customer, reseller partner and internal stakeholder service.
  • Achievement of agreed turnaround times for customer enquiries, applications and operational processes.
  • Identification and support of cross-selling and business development opportunities.
  • Effective leadership and management of the Sales Support team, demonstrated through employee engagement, coaching and mentoring, successful probationary outcomes, timely performance management, effective attendance and annual leave management, and the ongoing development of team capability.
  • Effective collaboration with Sales, Credit, Operations and other internal stakeholders.
  • Identification and implementation of continuous process improvements that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance with Company policies, internal procedures and operational standards.

Pay: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
