Our client is a leading consultancy delivering high-impact energy and sustainability projects across Ireland. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join their team.

The Role:
As an Energy & Sustainability Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting clients to improve energy performance, reduce carbon emissions, and deliver on sustainability goals. You will analyse energy usage, identify opportunities for efficiency, and develop strategies that align with both regulatory compliance and best practice in sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct energy and sustainability audits across commercial and public-sector buildings
  • Deliver non-domestic BER assessments and energy performance certification
  • Analyse energy data, preparing clear recommendations for energy efficiency and carbon reduction
  • Support delivery of SEAI-accredited energy audits (SI 426) and advise on compliance with national and EU regulations
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainability into design, construction and operations
About You:
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services) or Energy/Sustainability discipline
  • Strong experience in energy auditing, BER assessing, and sustainability consultancy
  • Familiarity with SEAI energy audit accreditation (SI 426) and/or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) desirable
  • Confident working with energy data and translating findings into practical client solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
