The Mobility Admin will support the existing Active Mobility service team currently managing the Smartphones/tablets and related platforms in the customer. Primary role will be to manage logistics for replacements program of devices in the fleet. The Mobility Admin will be responsible for managing replacement scheduling, asset management, and communications.
This role will be based on one of our customer sites which is near to Dublin City Centre and will be 5 days onsite. There will be a requirement to travel around Ireland to do physical deployments. Travel costs will be covered. Ideally those applying should have access to a car and full clean drivers license.
NOTE: These roles require Garda vetting. The level of vetting is Level 2 clearance which includes screening to work on systems within The Garda Siochana. This vetting is NOT standard garda vetting for working with sports clubs etc. Applicants must be willing to submit their details for Garda Vetting. We are offering a €5,000 signing on fee for anyone who may already hold Level 2 Garda Clearance.
Responsibilities
· Support customer’s internal user base during replacement of devices as part of digital transformation.
· Support repair processes of smartphone fleet.
· Assist with physical set up of devices where required.
· Keep work instructions up to date and create new ones based on changes product features or processes.
· Test and explore new features being deployed by vendors.
· Escalate issues to vendor 2nd or 3rd line support when required.
· Liaise regularly with management to report on developing service issues.
· Build strong relationships with key stakeholders based on professionalism and strong work ethic.
Skills/Experience required
· Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in a planning or support role involving managing devices at scale.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organisational skills
· 3rd level qualification in Computer Science or technical discipline. Nice to have
· Experience with Service Now ticketing system or other ITSM ticketing systems
· Experience with administration of large fleet of devices
