The Role
We’re hiring a Lead Field Service Technician to take ownership of day-to-day service delivery and act as the technical backbone of our operations.
This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced technician who can work independently, make sound technical decisions, and set standards for others. You’ll lead by example on jobs, support trainee and junior technicians, and help ensure work is done right the first time.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Lead installation, service, and repair work across client sites
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing faults
- Act as the main technical escalation point for service issues
- Support and mentor trainee and junior technicians
- Maintain high standards for workmanship, reporting, and van organisation
- Help plan service routes and prioritise urgent jobs when required
- Identify recurring faults and suggest technical or process improvements
- Represent Baristafy professionally with clients and partners

Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar senior role
- Strong diagnostic ability across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Comfortable working independently and making technical decisions
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or overseeing junior technicians
- Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Full clean driving licence
Backgrounds that suit this role include:
- Commercial coffee equipment technician
- Catering equipment engineer
- Appliance, vending machine, or refrigeration service technician
- Electrical or mechanical service engineer
- Automotive technician or mechanic
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience leading or training other technicians
- Enjoy improving systems, standards, and workflows

Pay: €47,500.00-€57,500.00 per year
