Job Summary

Errigal is a market leading construction company; with specialist expertise in partition systems, external façade, interior fitout, ceilings and bespoke solutions are seeking an innovative, talented IT Support Engineer to join our rapidly expanding IT Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting age technology offering excellent career potential.

Key responsibilities

  • The IT Support Engineer will assist the IT Team with daily operational tasks
  • Support and maintain the global corporate on prem and cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor and manage enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
  • Infrastructure vulnerability and patch management.
  • Provide high quality support to all employees – remote and onsite.
  • Work with vendors, partners, stakeholders and users to resolve issues.
  • Document IT operational processes.
  • Liaise with internal teams and departments to deliver on customer requests.
  • Troubleshoot issues on business-critical systems.
  • Ensure compliance for all IT standards and security policies
  • Identify opportunities for service / operational improvement.
  • Maintain and be accountable of asset management in order to preserve assets and replace and upgrade assets in a controlled manner.

Personal Attributes

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues / tasks and follow through without supervision.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with strong customer service focus.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role / environment.
  • Azure & M365 administration
  • Experience with enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
  • Virtualisation.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining, servers, workstations, network equipment, printers, patching.
  • Networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers and switches.
  • Active directory and user management experience.
