Full job description

The Wellington is a new premium gastro pub opening on Upper Baggot Street, Dublin. A three-floor venue with a serious commitment to food and drink done properly. We're building a front of house team that genuinely cares about the guest experience, and we want people who take pride in their work.

The Role

You'll be on the floor delivering a warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service experience across our dining and bar areas. This is a fast-paced environment, we're close to the Aviva Stadium, near Baggot Street's thriving hospitality scene, and we expect to be busy from day one.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a fast-paced, upmarket restaurant or hospitality setting
  • A genuine passion for food and drink — you don't need to be a sommelier, but you should care about what we're serving
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read a room
  • Ability to work as part of a team under pressure while keeping standards high
  • Reliability and professionalism

What We Offer

  • Competitive wage
  • Discounted staff meals on every shift
  • A central Dublin location with excellent transport links
  • A structured, well-managed operation with clear rotas and fair scheduling
  • A team culture that values and invests in its staff
  • Real scope for progression as the business grows — we promote from within
  • A genuinely exciting place to work at the start of something new
  • Tips shared fairly across the team

If you're passionate about hospitality and want to be part of a venue that's going to set a new standard on Baggot Street, we'd love to hear from you.
