Reach Forklift Driver / Reserve Delivery Driver

Elliott’s | Dublin | Full-time, Permanent
€35k-42k annually, depending on experience

Elliott’s is an established Irish family-run foodservice wholesaler based in Dublin. We are looking for an experienced Reach Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team.

The primary focus of this role will be working within our warehouse, operating a Reach Forklift and helping to ensure stock is received, stored, picked and dispatched efficiently.

The successful candidate will also act as a reserve delivery driver, providing cover for our delivery team during holidays, absences and busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Forklift

  • Safely operate a Reach Forklift
  • Load and unload deliveries
  • Put stock away and maintain organised warehouse locations
  • Pick and prepare customer orders
  • Move stock efficiently around the warehouse
  • Support goods-in and dispatch
  • Carry out daily forklift and equipment checks
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organisation
  • Follow all health & safety and food safety procedures

Delivery Driver – Reserve Role

  • Provide delivery cover when required
  • Deliver foodservice orders to customers across Dublin and surrounding areas
  • Load and unload the vehicle safely
  • Check orders against delivery paperwork
  • Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean and in good condition
  • Complete vehicle checks and report any issues
  • Represent Elliott’s professionally when dealing with customers

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Valid Reach Forklift Licence
  • Proven Reach Forklift experience
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Full clean Category B driving licence
  • Good driving record
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Previous delivery driving experience
  • Experience in foodservice, wholesale or
  • Reach forklift or additional forklift licences
  • Knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas
  • Experience with warehouse or delivery systems
