Who we are:

Grove Pre & After School are operating since 2002 & are a thriving childcare service on the school campus at Our Lady's Grove in Goatstown. We have a team of 12 staff, some of whom work in both services. Activity Camps are run during the mid term breaks, Easter & Summer. We are looking for a warm, caring and pro-active person for both classroom and afterschool service.

• Work alongside team
• Be professional, polite and positive in all verbal and non-verbal interactions with staff, parents and children at all times.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Supervision of Pre & After School Children
• Organise activities
• Activity Camp Programme
• Distribute hot meals & snacks to children
• Adhere to our policies and procedures and operation practices at all times
• Collection of children from school at closing times & afterschool activities
• Classroom Assistant Duties as per instruction from School Principal

Requirements:

• Candidates must have relevant experience in a similar role
• Fetac Level 5 in Childcare essential
• Garda Vetting must be in place before candidate commences employment.
• International Vetting required if candidate has lived outside of the jurisdiction for a period of 3 months or more.
• 2 written references

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.5 per week
