Kitchen Porter - Part Time

Nangor Road, Dublin 12 - Part time - 12 month contract

We're passionate about cooking up exceptional service to our corporate colleagues and clients, and we know that a clean and efficient kitchen is they key in making that possible. What you'll do:

  • Support daily kitchen operations to Sodexo standards, ensuring full compliance with HACCP and Health & Safety regulations
  • Handle pot-wash duties and maintain high cleanliness across kitchen areas
  • Assist chefs and team members with routine tasks and food-service preparation
  • Manage deliveries, including accepting goods, storing items correctly, and completing required documentation
  • Maintain excellent personal hygiene and always present in full uniform
  • Work independently when required while contributing positively to the team
  • Help ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen environment

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is desired but not essential
  • Working knowledge of HACCP or willingness to learn quickly
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to communicate well with colleagues and supervisors
  • Comfort working both as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards
  • Flexibility and readiness to support various kitchen tasks as needed
