As the role evolves, there will be opportunities to expand into new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and maximise customer value.
  • Prepare, manage and follow up on sales quotations.
  • Provide technical and commercial support, responding to customer enquiries and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate after-sales support, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with engineering and service teams to deliver the best outcomes for customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.
  • Travel to customer sites across Ireland and the UK as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in technical sales, account management or business development.
  • Background in equipment sales, pharmaceutical, engineering or manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to understand technical products and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Experience preparing quotations and managing customer enquiries.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, with experience creating and publishing engaging content.
  • Experience with business development tools and CRM systems would be advantageous
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland and the UK.
