Technical Product Support Specialist – Lighting & Heating Products.

Job Overview

Provide technical expertise and customer support across ATC’s range of heating, ventilation, and electrical products, ensuring customers and internal teams receive accurate product guidance, technical advice, and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and application advice to customers, installers, wholesalers, consultants, and internal sales teams.
  • Respond to technical enquiries via phone and email, assisting with product selection, specifications, troubleshooting, and system design queries.
  • Produce technical specifications, quotations support documentation, and AutoCAD drawings where required.
  • Support the sales team with technical product recommendations and customer solutions.
  • Assist with order processing and administration as required.
  • Design, develop, and deliver product training for internal teams, sales agents, distributors, and customers across Ireland and the UK.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, guides, and video content.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, New Product Development, and Quality teams to ensure technical information, product literature, and training content remain accurate and up to date.
  • Support quality processes through product evaluations, Goods for Return (GFR) assessments, and technical documentation.
  • Contribute technical expertise to new product launches and continuous product improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.

Desirable

  • Electrical qualification or relevant technical background.
  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Experience with ERP systems and order processing.
  • Technical sales support experience.
  • Experience delivering product training and presentations.
  • Knowledge of electrical, heating, ventilation, or mechanical products and systems.

Pay: €50,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
