TOWER SECURITY IS HIRING – TECHNICAL INSTALLER / IT SUPPORT

Full-Time Position

Location: Ballyfin, Portlaoise

IMPORTANT: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU LIVE MORE THAN 30 MINUTES FROM PORTLAOISE.

We are looking for a technically minded, practical and motivated person to join our team.

This is a varied role combining IT support, technical installations, CCTV, IP systems, customer communication and equipment maintenance.

What we're looking for:

  • Full Irish driving licence – essential
  • Good computer and Excel skills, Scheduling, reporting, troubleshooting
  • IT Knowledge of IP systems, network infrastructure and ports is an advantage
  • Interest in CCTV, security systems and technology
  • Mechanical interest or experience desirable
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and providing technical support
  • Practical and hands-on approach
  • Able to carry out basic mechanical tasks such as changing alternators, batteries, filters and fuelling equipment
  • Reliable, organised and hardworking
  • A genuine passion for learning and developing new skills

The ideal person will be a mix between an IT support technician and a hands-on technical installer . someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with technology and practical equipment.

Experience in IT, CCTV, IP/network infrastructure, electrical systems, mechanics or security systems is an advantage, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Full-time
  • Weekend on-call rota
