Full job description

We are looking for a motivated, technically minded professional to join our Audiological Support Team (Tech Team).

Start Dates: 24th August

This is a varied, patient-facing role combining technology, problem-solving and patient care. It is particularly suited to someone who is confident with computers, software and technology, enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, and is comfortable learning new systems and equipment.

You will work closely with our field-based dispensers and wider clinical team. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable solving a technical problem as they are communicating with and supporting a patient face-to-face.

Schedule & Travel

  • Full-Time, Permanent
  • Monday to Friday – no weekends
  • Normal working hours of 10:00am–6:00pm
  • Field-based role involving travel to patients within your local region, typically within approximately a 1-hour to 1-hour-15-minute radius

Salary Package Options:

  • €40,000 basic salary, or
  • €35,000 basic salary + company car
  • Plus 10% commission on qualifying hearing aid upgrades

The Role

As part of our Audiological Support Team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Fitting and servicing hearing aids
  • Providing follow-up consultations and ongoing audiological support
  • Carrying out technical adjustments and troubleshooting hearing aid-related issues
  • Identifying suitable hearing aid upgrade opportunities and discussing available options with patients
  • Supporting field-based dispensers and clinical staff when required
  • Providing professional, patient-focused audiological assistance
  • Maintaining high clinical, ethical and professional standards

Salary & Commission

The role also offers a choice of remuneration package to suit your circumstances — €40,000 basic salary or €35,000 basic salary plus a company car — together with 10% commission on qualifying hearing aid upgrades.

What We Offer

  • Full training in audiological practices, hearing aid fitting, servicing and technical support
  • Support towards gaining a nationally recognised qualification, with a long-term development pathway towards becoming an Audiologist
  • Career progression opportunities within a growing hearing healthcare business
  • Hands-on experience with both PRSI-funded hearing aids and advanced private hearing aid models
  • Comprehensive training on the systems, technology and equipment required to carry out appointments confidently
  • Ongoing support from our wider clinical and technical teams
  • Additional earning potential through our 10% upgrade commission structure

Requirements

  • Full driving licence – required
  • Career-minded with a genuine passion for helping people
  • Strong interest in technology, troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Confidence using computers, software and other technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, organised and patient-focused
  • Willingness to learn and develop new technical and audiological skills
  • Comfortable working independently while also being part of a wider clinical and support team
  • Garda vetted or willing to undergo Garda vetting

Previous audiology experience is beneficial but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to build a long-term career in hearing healthcare while combining patient care, technology and problem-solving.

You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to develop your audiological knowledge and technical skills, with opportunities to gain further qualifications and progress your career within the business.
