Full job description

Yellowcom are a leading ROI & UK mobile and landline provider, delivering services to businesses from our offices in Dublin, Belfast & Glasgow for over 18 years. We are fully accredited partners with Fixed Line Operators, Mobile Networks and Telecom Manufacturers.

We are looking for a Junior Engineer to join our growing Dublin team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who is eager to develop hands-on experience in telecoms and IT infrastructure.

In this role, you will assist senior engineers with installations at customer sites, including structured cabling and telephone systems (both PBX and hosted). You will also support troubleshooting and maintenance tasks, helping to diagnose and resolve faults both onsite and remotely, while delivering excellent customer service.

This position offers strong development opportunities, with training and exposure to the latest telecoms technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation of structured cabling and telecom systems
  • Support configuration of phone systems (on-premise and cloud-based)
  • Help diagnose and resolve faults onsite and remotely
  • Work alongside senior engineers on customer projects
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Basic knowledge or interest in structured cabling or telecoms systems
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (routers, LANs, IP basics)
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
  • Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • A full Irish Driving License (essential)
