Location: Lahinch Golf Club, County Clare
Pay Rate: €15.28(€14.15 + 8% holiday pay)

Event Dates: 31 August 2026 – 6 September 2026 (including build-up and event days)

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting Event Traffic Marshals to support the Walker Cup 2026 at Lahinch Golf Club, County Clare.
The Walker Cup is one of amateur golf's most prestigious international competitions, bringing together the best amateur golfers from Great Britain & Ireland and the United States. This world-renowned event attracts thousands of spectators and provides an exciting opportunity to work at a major international sporting event.
As an Event Traffic Marshal, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians throughout the venue. You will manage access points, direct traffic, assist visitors with parking and wayfinding, and help deliver a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone attending the event.
Successful applicants may also have opportunities to work at future sporting events and major venues across Ireland with CSP.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Have the right to work in Ireland.
- Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Be flexible and available throughout the event period.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Present themselves in a smart and professional manner.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience in traffic management, stewarding, or event operations.
- Relevant traffic management qualifications (e.g. Chapter 8 / SLG).
- Full clean driving licence.
