Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Programming Analyst on a permanent basis to join our team.

Job Purpose:

You will analyse, specify, design, document, test and deliver business systems and Information System processing solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defines and re-engineer business systems or information technology processes by using appropriate methods and tools and partnering with process owners to understand requirements.
• Guide implementation of enterprise and system level architectures and systems by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations.
• Work closely with the development team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution according to the specifications and implementation of business needs
• Guide support of enterprise and system level architectures and systems by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations.
• Create and provide quality training material for user assistance and system usage.
• Resolve issues related to business use of implemented systems or processes by working with systems or process owners and project teams to find acceptable solutions.
• Manage process improvement projects by applying basic project management methodology.
• May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups. (Intermediate, Senior)

Education & Experience:

• Honour Degree (Level 8 NFQ) qualification in IT \ Engineering (Computer Science or Software Engineering)
• Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role

• Experience in Database and/or Business Intelligence reporting tools
• Thorough knowledge of GDPR
• Manufacturing industry experience would be an advantage
• Experience in programming an advantage (C#, Jquery, .Net and MVC)
