Job Description – Evening Dining Room Assistant

Position: Evening Dining Room Assistant
Department: Food & Beverage
Hours: Evening shifts

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced Evening Dining Room Assistant to join our Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming and memorable dining experience.

Previous restaurant or hotel dining room experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests.
  • Prepare the dining room before service, ensuring tables are set to the highest standard.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and drinks in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure excellent knowledge of menus, daily specials, and allergens.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining room throughout service.
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables promptly.
  • Handle guest requests and resolve any issues courteously and professionally.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or hotel dining room is essential.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A team player with a flexible approach to work.
