Galway | Part-Time | Flexible Clinic Days

Medinet Ireland is looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in Dermatology to help launch and grow a new minor skin conditions clinic at our Galway facility.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dermatology-focused ANP who enjoys hands-on patient care and wants to be part of building a practical, patient-centred community service from the ground up.

The clinic will focus on treating straightforward, high-volume skin conditions such as:

• Warts
• Skin tags
• Seborrhoeic keratoses
• Other benign skin lesions

You’ll work within a consultant-led pathway, giving you clear support and governance while still allowing autonomy in clinic.

What the Role Will Look Like

Patients will initially be reviewed through a teledermatology pathway, where images are assessed and triaged by a Consultant Dermatologist. Once cleared for treatment, patients will attend clinic for ANP-led procedures and management.

Your role will include:

• Delivering cryotherapy treatments
• Removing skin tags and small benign lesions
• Assessing patients in clinic and recognising when escalation or consultant review is needed
• Maintaining clear clinical documentation and patient pathways
• Supporting image capture clinics when treatment slots are quieter

This is designed to be a flexible and scalable service, with the potential to expand as demand grows.

Clinic Details

• Initially 1 day per week
• Potential to increase over time
• Shift times: 10am – 7pm
• Clinic days can be agreed around your availability
• Patient numbers expected between 12–30 per clinic

We’d love to speak with ANPs who have:

• Strong dermatology experience
• Confidence using cryotherapy
• Experience managing minor skin lesions and benign conditions
• Good clinical judgement and the ability to identify red flags
• A patient-focused and practical approach to care

Experience within community dermatology or ambulatory services would be a bonus, but is not essential.

Training & Support

Training will be provided on:

• The Disderm platform
• Medinet IT systems and clinic processes

You’ll also work closely with Consultant Dermatologists as part of the wider service model.

Based on-site at Medinet Private Galway in Galway.
