The Role

We are currently recruiting a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in The Oak Room, our Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant.

The Oak Room offers an elegant seasonal tasting menu experience, celebrating the finest Irish ingredients sourced from a carefully curated network of exceptional producers across the island. Under the direction of Head Chef Michael Tweedie, the team delivers refined, ingredient-led cuisine in a setting that is both polished and welcoming.

As part of this highly skilled team, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless, intuitive, and memorable dining experience that reflects Michelin-star standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised service in line with Michelin-star fine dining standards
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of menus, ingredients, sourcing, and beverage pairings, confidently guiding guests through the tasting experience
  • Execute precise and attentive service sequences, ensuring consistency, timing, and detail at every stage
  • Maintain immaculate presentation of the dining room, including table settings, mise en place, and service areas
  • Anticipate guest needs with discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Work seamlessly with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure a smooth and coordinated service
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, organisation, and service etiquette
  • Contribute to a calm, focused, and respectful team environment during service

About You

  • Previous experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality is highly desirable
  • A genuine passion for Michelin-level service, food, and wine
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a warm yet refined manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to perform under pressure
