The Merrion, one of Dublin’s finest luxury hotels is recruiting for a Housekeeping Porter.

Centrally located in Dublin within easy reach of public transport, this role will offer you the opportunity to work in a beautiful hotel where the highest of standards are in place and where you have all the tools you need to do your job. Your role as Housekeeping Porter will include:

• Collect linen from the corridors at regular periods.
• Deliver requested items to guest bedrooms.
• Moving furniture.
• Shampoo bedrooms, public corridors, public areas, chairs and sofas.
• Assist the Public Area Team in relation to deep cleaning of public areas
• Clean the employee changing rooms to standard operating procedures.
• Stock all storerooms throughout the day ensuring all items needed are present, while maintaining efficient use of space.
• When you monitor stock levels on a daily/weekly/monthly basis – liaising with Stores to ensure we always have a constant stock supply and requisitioning all stock required.

** Please note, you will work with a team of 3 – 4 Porters per day. Teamwork is very important**

The successful candidate will have strong guest focus, great communication skills, spoken and written English, multi-tasking ability eand enjoy contributing in a positive way to The Merrion Culture. Flexibility in response to guest and business needs is required, no two days are the same!
