Full job description

We at the East Room Restaurant pride ourselves on traditional Irish hospitality. We have operated as a fine dining restaurant for the past 7 years.

Our aim is to create an elegant dining experience that follows the seasons and champions the local area. Our energy is drawn from our astonishing raw produce, and deep rooted connectedness to the region; the driving forces behind the experience we are so proud to offer. Our team only work with the freshest artisanal produce, locally grown, and hand foraged ingredients that are in season and at their best.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Chef de Partie to join our team, an exciting opportunity to be apart of a team who are always pushing the limits of fine dining.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Have experience running their own section in a busy kitchen (pastry or meat/fish)
  • Have previous experience in a luxury hospitality setting where there is a focus on finer details
  • Be well organised and immaculately presented
  • Be able to communicate clearly during a busy service whilst under pressure
  • Enter with a positive attitude and be ready to learn and develop within a team constantly striving to push the boundaries
  • Have knowledge of HACCP

Further opportunities for part-time chefs of all grades may also be available, so please do get in touch if you are currently in culinary school or looking to build upon some existing experience you may have.

We operate on a 4.5 day working week with Tuesday as a prep day, Wednesday to Saturday for service, and Sunday & Monday guaranteed off.
