Senior Care Plus is inviting applications for the role of Healthcare Assistant.
The role will assist in delivering a high standard of person-centered care to our Clients (in the community), promoting their independence, affording them choice, and ensuring their dignity is maintained at all times.
Duties include assisting clients with direct care and all aspects of daily living. Getting to know the clients' interests and needs, and contributing to maintaining a safe environment.
The role requires good communication skills and the ability to work well independently, or as part of a team, with a pleasant, respectful manner, and a desire to enhance the lives of our Clients ( in their own homes) and maintain a positive environment
Applicants must have commenced or be enrolled in a Minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills and Care of the Older person. All applicants must be enrolled in or working towards completing the full QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support course, or must hold an equivalent accepted healthcare qualification. Comprehensive induction training and continued support and mentoring will be provided.

Salary: €13.50 - €18.00 per hour
