Post Summary:- The role is a senior executive leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering Rinn Artificial Intelligence’s strategic funding framework, ensuring financial sustainability at scale, helping to position the Centre as a national and international leader in AI and Data Science. This position will be recruited at Trinity College but is a senior national role within Rinn Artificial Intelligence Centre, reporting to the Centre Director, and serving all Rinn Artificial Intelligence host institutions. Within Trinity the role will report to the the SCSS Institutional Lead (SCSS Trinity Artificial Intelligence Centre Director). The role is directly accountable for meeting Centre funding targets from industry and non-exchequer non-commercial sources.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract
The School of Computer Science and Statistics is seeking to appoint an Associate Director for Partnerships & Funding Strategy in Rinn Artificial Intelligence: Research Ireland Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The specific purpose of this role is to provide senior executive leadership, responsible for shaping and delivering the Rinn Artificial Intelligence Centre’s strategic funding framework, ensuring financial sustainability at scale, develop strategic partnerships across government, industry and international ecosystems, and positioning the Centre as a national and international leader in AI and Data Science. This position will be based at Trinity College but is a senior national role within the Rinn Artificial Intelligence Centre, and serving all Rinn Artificial Intelligence Centre host institutions. Within Trinity the role will report to the Institutional Lead within the School of Computer Science and Statistics.
Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis, as all activities are directly linked to the scope and duration of the Rinn Artificial Intelligence Centre and are expected to come to an end. Termination of this contract will occur in the event of on completion of the work in which you are engaged, or in an event that Centre activities have concluded, or the funding stream being terminated or withdrawn by the funding agencies
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Senior Administrative 2 Salary Scale ( €112,225 - €150,032 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
