Job Description:

As a Rigid Driver at Duffy Express Freight UC, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their shipments on time while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Operate and drive a Rigid truck in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Transport goods to various locations as per scheduled delivery routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Handle goods with care, ensuring secure loading and unloading.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience driving a Rigid Truck
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and logistics.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €27,000.00-€35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Donegal, County Donegal: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)

  • C Driving Licence (required)
