The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Artic Operator to join our team in Longford. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing company that values professionalism, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate articulated tanker vehicles across a variety of customer sites.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
  • Carry out assigned work efficiently while complying with company policies and health and safety procedures.
  • Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while representing Glancy Enviro professionally.
  • Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with dispatch, operations, and site teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.

Essential Requirements

  • Full clean Category C & CE driving licence.
  • Minimum of 4 years' continuous HGV driving experience.
  • Valid Safe Pass.
  • Valid Manual Handling certification.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
  • Previous experience operating vacuum tankers or within the drainage, environmental, or waste management industry.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of environmental services and safe operating procedures.
