Full job description

Active Fitness is looking for a full-time Fitness Instructor to join its team. The successful candidate will conduct fitness assessments and deliver personalised fitness programmes and group classes to both new and existing members.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To teach a variety of Fitness classes such as Spin, Strength & Conditioning, Mobility and Aquafit.
  • To devise training plans for new and existing members.
  • To ensure maintenance of all gym equipment.
  • To supervise and monitor the pool deck and changing room areas to ensure that all areas are kept in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • To carry out Plant Room and Reception duties.
  • To carry out cleaning duties of the facilities.
  • To ensure that the highest standard of customer service is provided to all guests and members.
  • To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests, and other persons on the premises.
  • Professionally address customer complaints and communicate issues to management.
  • To attend all training courses as notified to you by management
  • To perform other duties as assigned to you by management to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Certified Fitness Instructor (required)
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and observant with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Positive and Friendly attitude is a must.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Proven dependability and reliability.

Desirable

  • Lifeguard Qualification
  • Personal Training
  • First Aid/AED Qualification

Pay: From €14.70 per hour
