Full job description

  • Front Desk Receptionist

The Abbey Hotel Roscommon is delighted to invite applicants for the position of Receptionist to join our friendly Front Office team.

Full time and part time hours are available in this position.

Role responsibilities include:

  • To anticipate the guests' needs to enhance quality service and guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting the Front Office Team with the day to day running and development of the Reception area, ensuring good organization, effective and efficient systems.
  • To always provide the highest level of Customer Service to the Guests and to maximize all opportunities and actual bookings by way of excellent people skills, product knowledge and closing sales ability.
  • To offer the highest level of guest service in the Hotel, ensuring the highest standards are always achieved.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar capacity in a busy hotel with a strong background in Front Office systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Front Office Systems, preferably Protel Air is preferred.
  • Excellent level of spoken & written English
  • Proven experience of working as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
