Full job description

We are looking for a Customer Service Rep to join our growing team!

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, servicing, repair and removal of waste and recycling bins for both domestic and commercial customers. The role combines driving, customer service and operational duties to ensure customers receive a professional service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Provide excellent customer service during all customer interactions. Represent the company in professional and courteous manner. Help direct and refer customer queries to the relevant team for resolution.

Operational Duties

  • Deliver, repair, remove and service bins for new and existing domestic and commercial customers across all depots. Complete all scheduled work accurately and report any uncompleted jobs at the end of the shift.

Depot Responsibilities

  • Load the vehicle with the required bins, equipment and materials each morning. Ensure bins and equipment are secured safely before leaving the depot. Follow all site rules and health and safety procedures while working within the depot. Assist with stock management at the depots.

Vehicle Responsibilities

  • Complete daily vehicle walkaround safety inspections on the vehicle. Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean. Report any defects, damage or maintenance requirements promptly. Operate the vehicle in a safe manner complying with road traffic legislation and company driving policies.

Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of completed and outstanding work. Return all required paperwork and information at the end of each working day.

Health & Safety

  • Comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures. Wear the required PPE at all times. Work safely on customer premises, public roads and within the depot. Report accidents, incidents, hazards and near misses in line with company procedures

Essential Requirements:

  • Full clean driving license.
  • Comfortable working with Outlook and Excel.
  • Good time management and the ability to manage a workload independently.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver.
