Delivery Driver / Sales Representative

Guardian Doors, is a part of the Grady Window Manufacturers Group, founded in 1979, and have grown from a small family run business into a market leader in the door and window manufacturing industry across Ireland and the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver / Sales Rep to deliver our doors, who is reliable, practical, and will build strong relationships with our customers.

You'll be a familiar face to the installers and businesses we supply.

What the job involves:

• Delivering doors with daily runs varying by route and distance.
• Loading, securing and unloading products safely, using the appropriate equipment and assistance.
• Getting to know customers, understanding what they need and helping generate repeat business.
• Seeking new sales opportunities and following up with our sales team.
• Feeding customer comments or issues back to the relevant department and keeping customers informed.
• Keeping the vehicle presentable and delivery paperwork in order.

Who would suit the role?

• A full Category B driving licence is required. Category BE (B+E), allowing trailer use, would be a strong advantage.
• Someone with experience in carpentry, door fitting, construction or a similar practical trade, would be a strong advantage.
• A good communicator who enjoys meeting people and can build relationships.
• A well-presented and dependable individual with good time management and organisational skills.
• Physically capable of handling deliveries and committed to handling customers' products with care.

No prior experience as a sales rep is required. If you have practical knowledge, a good rapport with customers and the drive to bring in business, we want to hear from you.
