Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our Grid Integration business in Ireland, based in Dublin.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction activities at project sites, ensuring that all work is executed safely, on time and in line with project requirements, quality standards and Hitachi Energy policies.
How you’ll make an impact

Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities at site, ensuring compliance with the project quality plan, technical specifications and construction schedule.

Plan and organize construction activities to optimize the use of resources and meet project milestones.

Review drawings and specifications to identify and resolve discrepancies or conflicts in a timely manner.
-
Monitor the availability and utilization of materials, equipment and manpower on site to ensure alignment with the construction program.

Ensure that construction works are executed in accordance with health, safety and environmental requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.

Provide leadership and direction to site teams, setting clear goals and objectives to achieve operational results.

Ensure that policies, practices and procedures are understood and consistently followed by direct reports, contractors and other stakeholders.
Your background

Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role within complex industrial, infrastructure or EPC projects.

Solid understanding of construction processes, site coordination and resource planning.

Experience leading teams and coordinating site-based personnel or subcontractors.

Ability to work in a structured way, managing priorities and resolving site-related issues effectively.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
