Full job description

Our client, a Public Sector body, is seeking a Website & Analytics Executive to join their Communications Department on a 15-month contract. Based in Dublin or Cork, this role sits within the Digital Marketing Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the organisation's website end-to-end, from performance, security and SEO to analytics, reporting and web project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and the organisation's appointed suppliers to improve engagement, lead generation and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee website performance, security and updates.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure business resilience for the site, through good management and governance.
  • Apply SEO best practice to increase organic visibility.
  • Manage all PPC campaigns for web.
  • Reply to, troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
  • Support website content editors and owners with frequent content publishing.
  • Host regular CMS training for new and existing content editors.
  • Manage regular communication and training with content editors.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to scope and develop business cases for new web projects.
  • Act as the key contact for internal web projects.
  • Attend weekly WIP meetings with the organisation's appointed supplier(s) to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of all web projects.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager on risk analysis and evaluation for web service and projects.
  • Monitor, assess and report on website performance using GA4.
  • Provide key actionable insights and reports to improve user experience.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Campaigns team to ensure all campaigns are tracked.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

Essential

  • A degree (minimum NFQ Level 8 or greater) in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Web Design/Development or a related discipline.
  • Minimum three years' directly relevant experience leading the management of a substantial online web presence for a large organisation.
  • Expertise using industry-leading website content management platform(s) for high-quality content publishing.
  • Proven experience in project management, web analytics (GA4) and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including report writing, presenting and public speaking.
  • Well-developed IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Desirable

  • Experience using Drupal, a popular website content management system.
  • People management experience.
  • Experience or knowledge of delivering positive customer experiences.
  • Knowledge or experience of working in the Public Sector.
  • Proficiency in the Irish language.
