Full job description

Location: Dublin, Ireland (remote) Openings: 1 (half time, about 20 hours per week) Experience: 5 to 8 years

Engagement: Part-time, 12-month engagement from January 2027

About the role

Design solutions for complex clinical documentation problems in products that use AI and speech recognition to help clinicians document patient care. You will bring stakeholders to a shared product vision and give developers designs they can build from.

What you will do
*

Run design sessions with product, clinical and engineering stakeholders.

Create mockups, prototypes and interaction diagrams, delivered weekly within the sprint schedule.

Write developer-facing design specifications.

Plan and run usability studies with clinicians.

Apply design thinking to product decisions.

How the team works
*

Weekly design deliverables within the client's sprint schedule.

Jira for work tracking and daily time entry in Jira Tempo.

Feedback incorporated within three business days.

Must have
*

5+ years of UX or interaction design for complex software.

Figma or equivalent prototyping tools.

A portfolio showing workflow-heavy or enterprise product design.

Usability testing experience.

Accessibility standards (WCAG).

Nice to have
*

Healthcare or clinical software design.

Designing for AI or voice interfaces.

HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.

Pay: €30.00-€35.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dublin, County Dublin
