About Us

Thunder Road Cafe is a busy and vibrant restaurant located in the heart of Dublin. We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team and support daily food preparation and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking
  • Prepare ingredients and basic dishes according to kitchen standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen stations
  • Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene procedures at all times
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Help with stock rotation and kitchen deliveries
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently and efficiently

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
