About the Role

Butlers Chocolates is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Weekend Visitor Centre Supervisor to support the operation of our Chocolate Factory Visitor Centre.

This role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, tourism, or customer service who enjoys leading a team and delivering exceptional visitor experiences. The successful candidate will oversee the smooth running of the Visitor Centre during weekends while ensuring visitors receive the warm welcome and excellent service that Butlers Chocolates is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the Visitor Centre during weekend shifts.
• Lead, motivate, and support Visitor Centre team members.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience for all visitors.
• Manage visitor bookings, customer queries, and feedback.
• Support retail sales and merchandise presentation within the gift shop.
• Ensure health & safety standards and company procedures are followed.
• Assist with cash handling, stock control, opening, and closing procedures.
• Act as the key point of contact on site during weekend operations.

About You

• Previous supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, tourism, leisure, or customer-facing environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and confidently make decisions.
• Organised, reliable, and flexible.
• Passionate about creating memorable visitor experiences.

Experience in visitor attractions, tourism, hospitality, retail supervision, cafés, hotels, museums, or customer experience roles would be highly beneficial.
