We, a well-established accounting firm located in Wilton, Cork are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant to join our expanding team. The applicant will gain exposure to a variety of clients from medium sized companies to sole traders and partnerships.

The Main Responsibilities of the Role:

· Preparation of prime entry records

· Preparation and submission of statutory returns

· Preparation of management accounts

· Preparation of weekly and monthly payroll

· Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

· Preparation of financial statements

· Report to senior accountants

· Attend meetings with senior accountant if required

· Ad hoc duties as required

Ideal Candidate

· Highly organised individual with ability to prioritise

· Excellent attention to detail

· Enthusiastic and friendly

· Excellent telephone manner

· Capable of working on own initiative.

· Strong ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.

· Excellent excel and analytical skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

. Experience in Sage is an advantage
