SUMMARY OF ROLE:
We are recruiting for a Driver/Technician with a full B licence for our Client based in Wilton, Cork City. Our client operates nationally and is a major construction and road materials testing service provider. This is an ongoing full-time role with the potential of permanent employment with the company. Full training will be provided for the job, consisting of induction plus two weeks of partnering with an experienced technician training on the job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaising with clients with regard to scheduled site visits;
  • Completing quality control assessment and analysis, recording same electronically on clients' sites;
  • Carrying out on-site testing depending on the specific site activity;
  • Informing clients of quality issues as they arise on site.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full clean B licence;
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and use own initiative;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Computer literate;
  • Valid Safe Pass or willingness to complete the course;
  • Interested in learning new skills and career development;
  • Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

RATE OF PAY:
€15.63 per hour. Company van, phone and fuel card provided as part of the job.

WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday, a minimum of 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required to work overtime. The working hours can be either daytime, evening or nights, depending on the nature of the current client contract.
