EnergyIQ Experts Ltd is a growing energy consultancy specialising in domestic Building Energy Rating (BER) assessments. Due to increased demand, we are seeking an organised and dependable Part-Time Office Administrator to support the day-to-day running of the business.

This is a remote, work-from-home position for approximately 15–20 hours per week. The working days are Monday to Friday only, with no evening or weekend work required.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing the company diary and booking BER appointments
  • Answering telephone and email enquiries
  • Communicating with homeowners, contractors and business clients
  • Confirming appointments and sending customer reminders
  • Preparing and organising digital job files
  • Requesting and following up on customer documentation
  • Updating spreadsheets, client records and online job portals
  • Preparing and issuing invoices and monitoring outstanding payments
  • Organising photographs, reports and supporting documentation
  • Assisting with mileage records and general business administration
  • Handling customer information securely and confidentially
  • Providing general administrative support to the company director

The ideal candidate

  • Has previous office administration experience
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple active jobs
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Is confident speaking with customers by telephone
  • Is comfortable using email, Microsoft Word, Excel and online systems
  • Has strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
  • Can work independently and manage their workload from home
  • Is dependable and available during agreed weekday hours
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and data protection

Experience in BER assessments, SEAI schemes, construction, energy upgrades or property services would be an advantage but is not essential. Training will be provided.

  • Fully remote position working from home
  • Approximately 15–20 hours per week

  • No evening or weekend work
  • Working hours to be agreed within normal weekday business hours
  • Potential for the hours and responsibilities to increase as the company grows
  • Company-controlled systems and equipment will be provided where required
