About Overlander Ireland

Overlander Ireland is a leading supplier of specialist vehicles, specialising in the sales and rental of premium horseboxes, welfare vans, minibuses, and bespoke commercial vehicles.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and self-motivated Sales Executive to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a growing business, make a genuine impact, and help drive the next phase of our expansion.

The Role

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines office-based sales activity with field sales across Ireland. You'll spend time meeting customers, carrying out vehicle demonstrations, building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and representing Overlander at customer sites and industry events.

We're looking for someone with the confidence and initiative to open new doors, develop new markets, and build lasting customer relationships. You'll work closely with management but will also have the autonomy to manage your own sales pipeline and contribute to the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Visit customers throughout Ireland to demonstrate our range of horseboxes, welfare vans, minibuses, and specialist vehicles.
  • Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to vehicle delivery.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify opportunities within the construction, utilities, equestrian, transport, and commercial sectors.
  • Promote both vehicle sales and rental solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, finance proposals, and vehicle specifications.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM records.
  • Represent Overlander Ireland at trade shows, exhibitions, equestrian events, and customer demonstrations.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and digital content.
  • Assist with vehicle presentation to ensure every customer receives a first-class experience.
  • Provide market feedback and identify new opportunities to expand our customer base.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • A motivated, driven, and ambitious sales professional.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in meeting customers face-to-face and delivering vehicle demonstrations.
  • A proactive approach with the initiative to generate new business opportunities.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Ireland.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in vehicle, commercial, agricultural, construction, or equipment sales.
  • Interest in horseboxes, commercial vehicles, welfare vans, minibuses, or the equestrian industry.
  • Experience using CRM software.
  • Knowledge of vehicle finance or leasing solutions.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with performance-based commission.
  • Company vehicle or travel expenses (depending on experience and role requirements).
  • Mobile phone and laptop.
  • Full product and sales training.
  • The opportunity to build a long-term career with a rapidly growing company.
  • A supportive, ambitious, and collaborative team environment.
  • Genuine opportunities for progression as Overlander Ireland continues to expand.

Why Join Overlander Ireland?

We're looking for someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers, demonstrating vehicles, and building relationships that lead to long-term business. If you're entrepreneurial, enjoy opening new doors, and want to grow with a company where your contribution truly matters, we'd love to hear from you.

How to Apply

Please send your CV along with a short cover letter explaining why you're interested in joining Overlander Ireland and how your experience, drive, and ambition would help grow our business.
