We are a private family based in North County Kildare seeking a reliable, capable and organised Family Housekeeper to help maintain a well-run home and provide practical childcare support during the day.

We have four children - our baby is 6 months old and our toddler (3) attends preschool. We have two older children (11 and 10) attending primary school. The role is primarily housekeeping-led, with childcare support forming a flexible part of the working day. We are looking for someone who will work professionally and independently in our home, while maintaining a warm and comfortable manner around the children.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping and home organisation

· Daily cleaning and upkeep of the home

· Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management

· Light meal preparation and kitchen reset

· Managing household supplies and restocking

· Occasional errands (e.g., dry cleaning, parcels)

· Light pet care (1 family dog)

· Maintaining a calm, tidy and well‑organised environment

Childcare support

· Assist with childcare

· School and pre-school collections

· Help with afterschool activities

· Assisting with care for the baby

· Creating a calm and structured environment

What We Are Looking For

· Experienced in professional housekeeping

· Experienced supporting children of different ages

· Warm, enthusiastic and dependable

· Organised and proactive, to anticipate household needs

· Confident driver (vehicle can be provided - full clean licence essential)

· Professional and discreet

Pay: €17.00-€20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
