Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Dublin 24 (Studio / Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-time (flexible hours)
Salary: €45k-55k, DOE

About Us

At Outburst Design, we’re a creative studio producing high-quality, impactful design for organisations that make a difference, from Government Departments and public bodies to charities and education providers. We specialise in reports, publications, communication materials and accessible design.

Founded in 1998, we deliver clear, engaging communication across print and digital formats, with a strong focus on typography, layout and purposeful design.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re hiring a Senior Graphic Designer with strong editorial and publication design experience. We’re looking for a detail-driven creative with excellent Adobe InDesign skills and proven experience designing reports, multi-page documents and communication materials.

You’ll thrive with us if you value good design, take pride in accuracy, and enjoy collaborating on work that has real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and deliver reports, publications, and digital/print communication materials

· Interpret briefs and apply client feedback accurately and efficiently

· Prepare artwork for print and digital delivery

· Ensure brand consistency, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), and quality control across all projects

· Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven studio environment

· Collaborate closely with the creative team and contribute ideas and solutions

Requirements

· 10+ years’ graphic design experience

· Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign (essential), plus Photoshop and Illustrator

· Strong typography, layout and editorial design skills

· Experience across both print and digital design

· Knowledge of accessibility standards and accessible PDFs is a strong advantage (training provided)

· Motion graphics experience (After Effects) is an advantage

· Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
