Moorehall Lodge Drogheda is seeking Kitchen Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will be flexible and must have the ability to work weekdays and weekends as required.

Responsibilities
:

  • Assisting with the preparation of food, meals and snacks for residents as required by the Chef and the Person in Charge
  • Transport meals to each household as required and to serve meals in the Households.
  • Putting away stock and labeling, covering, and storing food.
  • Washing up of all items used in the kitchen area and maintaining the kitchen, the cooking areas and storage areas in a clean and tidy state in line with cleaning schedules.
  • To carry out such other reasonable duties, appropriate to the role as may be required.
  • focusing on a person centered approach whilst maintaining Moorehall Lodge's policies and procedures
  • respecting privacy, dignity and to promote confidentiality within a warm homely setting.
  • working within a team whilst recognizing the skills and abilities of others as we are all individual.
  • supporting the Cook in provision of resident's meals, whilst maintaining food hygiene safety standards.
