About the Role

We’re looking for a Kotlin-first Android Developer to help us build and evolve our Jetpack Compose-based app, delivering a seamless and consistent experience in close alignment with our iOS counterpart.

You’ll work within a small, experienced team, actively shaping both UX and architecture while collaborating with iOS peers and backend engineers. Clean code, modern patterns, and pragmatic decision-making are at the heart of this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain features in a modern Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Work closely with iOS developers to align architectures and features across platforms.
  • Collaborate on shared business logic and API integrations backed by a RESTful infrastructure.
  • Contribute to a smooth CI/CD pipeline, including automated testing and delivery.
  • Apply modern Android development best practices (e.g., coroutines, modularization, MVVM/MVI, etc.).

What You Bring

  • Advanced proficiency in Kotlin and a solid grasp of Jetpack Compose.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and handling offline/online state gracefully.
  • A mindset focused on clean, testable code and scalable architecture.
  • Comfortable working in remote-first environments and collaborating asynchronously.
  • Passion for mobile UX and platform consistency.

Bonus Points

  • Basic knowledge of Javascript for DOM analysis.
  • Experience with Flutter on multiplatform development.
  • Familiarity with Swift or a basic understanding of the iOS ecosystem.
