Position: Global Security Operations Centre Operator

Location: Dublin City

Basic Pay: €23.00 per Hour

Hours: 36+ per week

Schedule: Monday-Sunday

Schedule: 1900 - 0700


Position Overview:

This role is responsible for monitoring an integrated suite of physical security technologies such as access control systems, video surveillance, case management, and visitor management platforms. GSOC Operators are responsible for identifying potential risks or threats by analyzing data from various internal sources, as well as external intelligence feeds and other relevant information. During active security incidents, such as unauthorized entries, suspicious activities, safety situations, or emergencies, the GSOC Operator is responsible
for assessing the threat, initiating response protocols, and coordinating actions. This includes dispatching security officer responders, engaging with law enforcement and emergency services, and providing detailed situational updates to stakeholders. GSOC Operators must maintain meticulous documentation of all incidents, capturing critical details in case management systems and conduct in-depth investigations of security breaches to create comprehensive reports for key stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor global security threats, incidents, and emerging risks that may impact company operations.
  • Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) monitoring and leverage security tools to analyze potential risks.
  • Respond to security alarms, access control incidents, and other security-related events.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate timely incident response and resolution.
  • Maintain real-time situational awareness and communicate critical updates to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the execution of emergency response protocols during crisis situations.
  • Document incidents, generate reports, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Support executive protection and travel security operations through intelligence gathering and risk assessments.
  • Operate and manage GSOC technologies, including surveillance systems, alarm monitoring, and mass notification tools.


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in security operations, intelligence analysis, law enforcement, military, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and respond to security incidents.
  • Familiarity with security software, surveillance systems, and access control platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience with OSINT, risk analysis, and security intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must possess the ability to foster and be a steward of a culture of trust, honesty, and integrity.
  • Demonstrates the skills and qualities of being professional, courteous, and able to provide high-level customer service and support.


Requirements:

  • PSA Licence: Valid PSA Security Guarding Licence
  • Screening and Vetting: 5 years of verifiable and personal activity
  • Full Clean Irish Driving Licence
