Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, project managers, consultants, and other trades on-site.

Maintain accurate records of completed works, snagging items, equipment changes, and site progress.

Represent the company professionally at all times and help maintain strong client relationships.

Required Skills and Experience

Previous experience in commercial AV installation or a similar technical installation role.

Strong understanding of AV signal flow, cabling, connectors, rack systems, audio systems, display technologies, and video conferencing equipment.

Competence with cable termination, including CAT6/6A, HDMI, audio, speaker cable, control cable, and structured cabling standards.

Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment schedules.

Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and access equipment safely.

Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering neat, reliable installations.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues.

Full clean driving licence preferred.

Desirable Skills

Experience with control systems such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, or AMX.

Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and video conferencing environments.

Safe Pass, Manual Handling, MEWP, Working at Heights, or other relevant site certifications.

Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing, VLANs, PoE, and device configuration.

Experience with rack building, testing, and offsite pre-build work.

Comfortable working on active construction sites and client premises.

Flexible approach to travel, working hours, and project deadlines.

Organised, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
