Full job description

About Us

Brew Twenty One is a coffee company rooted in quality coffee and genuine hospitality. We are a growing coffee business that spans two café locations with further expansion due this summer.

We‘re looking for a manager who fits our culture and values and wants to grow with us, not just run the day-to-day.

We’re deliberate about the teams we build, because we believe the right people, in the right environment, take care of each other, their customers, and the business.

The Role

This is a leadership position for someone who leads from the front. You’ll be responsible for the daily operation of the café, the performance and development of your team, and the experience every customer has when they walk through our door. You’ll also work closely with our senior management team to contribute ideas, improve systems, and help shape where this business goes next.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading, motivating, and developing a close-knit café team
  • Holding high standards across customer service, product quality, and daily operations
  • Building genuine relationships — with your regulars, your team, and the wider community
  • Owning and improving the systems that keep the café running smoothly (opening/closing, cash handling, stock, scheduling)
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience and business performance
  • Feeding into broader company strategy alongside the senior management team

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing or leading a café, restaurant, or hospitality team
  • A natural leader — someone people follow because they respect them, not because they have to
  • Strong on systems and standards, without losing the warmth that makes hospitality great
  • A genuine people person — you build trust with customers and team members alike
  • Commercially aware and eager to contribute beyond your four walls
  • Calm under pressure, consistent in your approach, and honest in your communication

Why Join Us

  • A role with real scope — we promote from within and invest in people who invest in us
  • Direct access to senior leadership and a genuine voice in how the business develops
  • The backing of a growing coffee company with its own roastery
  • A team and culture worth showing up for
