Spilt Milk is one of Dublin’s most vibrant and energetic Ice Cream & Coffee Shop locations.

Located in the heart of Dublin City on Drury Street, we are a small independent business

with big plans. We are seeking a passionate, hands-on Café Shop Manager to lead daily

operations, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and drive business growth. The ideal

candidate is a people-focused leader with strong operational, financial, and customer service

skills who thrives in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Operational Management: Oversee daily café operations including opening/closing,

inventory control, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

 Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate staff to maintain high

performance and morale.

 Customer Experience: Ensure consistent, high-quality coffee and food service;

handle customer feedback professionally and promptly.

 Financial Performance: Manage budgets, monitor sales targets, control costs, and

optimize profitability.

 Inventory & Supply Chain: Maintain accurate stock levels, manage supplier

relationships, and minimize waste.

 Brand & Standards: Ensure the café reflects the company’s brand, cleanliness, and

presentation standards at all times.

 Marketing & Community Engagement: Support local marketing initiatives and build

community connections to grow the customer base.

Qualifications & Skills

 Proven experience as a Coffee Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role in

hospitality or retail.

 Strong leadership and team development skills.

 Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

 Solid understanding of café operations, coffee preparation, and customer service

principles.

 Financial literacy (budgeting, cost control, reporting).

 Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.

 Flexible schedule — ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as

needed.

Education

 College Degree or equivalent required.

 Hospitality or business management qualification preferred.
