Job Title: Senior Head Chef
Location: 24-26 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, D01 NP86, Ireland
Total Hours Per Week:40
Days Per Week: 5 days,
Shift Pattern : Monday to Friday,7am to 3.30pm regularly, but high operational flexibility for the service hours in hospitality for the evenings
We are searching for a Senior Head Chef with passion for food and leading a team, or a chef with the relevant experience. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sous chef to move into a head chef role.

We are looking for:
A Senior Head Chef who can lead, organize, and control all aspects of the kitchen operation, produce meals within budgetary guidelines and to comply with the client, company, and statutory regulations.
A professional chef with a passion for food, positive work attitude, being adaptable, self-starting and a team player who will work with, lead, and develop the team
You will be:
- Experienced in leading a kitchen operation in similar role (head chef)
- Food focused and up to date with the market and new trends
- Comfortable in managing and developing a team
- Proficient in MS Package: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
- Have a working knowledge of Food Safety regulation and standards
- Financially astute and understand the cost and income streams in the kitchen.
To fulfil your duties, you need to:
- Ensure the production of food is to the highest quality and service standards using current trends in cooking techniques and new commodities.
- Actively build good client relationships and maintain the profitability of the contract.
- Effectively communicate with all the team on a regular basis, including daily preservice briefings and weekly management team meetings.
- Implement any on the job training required to improve the operation.
Some infrequent duties to mention
- To assist at any special duties or functions
- Attend meetings, courses and training sessions as may be necessary from time to time.
- Relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other establishments.
HSEQ:
- Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
- Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)
- Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations
- Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies
- Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions
Other features of the job
It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
