Sales & Events Coordinator – Sandbox VR

Are you a passionate and organised coordinator looking for an exciting new opportunity in the world of immersive entertainment?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team at Sandbox VR UK & Ireland - Dublin.

About the Role:

As Sales & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our sales function, helping to maximise group bookings, manage client relationships and ensure every event runs seamlessly by collaborating with venue management.

You will be the first point of contact for all group, party, and corporate enquiries, from small groups up to full venue hires. You will guide clients through the booking process from initial enquiry to the day of their event, all while promoting our VR experiences, private hire, and package options.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a sales or events coordination role, a genuine passion for immersive entertainment, and a proven track record of delivering excellent guest service.

What you’ll be doing:

Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Handle inbound sales enquiries
  • Convert leads into confirmed bookings
  • Proactively follow up with prospective clients to meet and exceed monthly sales targets for group and corporate bookings

Building and Maintaining Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Ensuring high levels of satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Act as the main point of contact for all group and corporate enquiries from first contact through to post-event follow-up.

Third-Party Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with third-party event companies
  • Act as the key day-to-day contact to ensure smooth collaboration and a seamless experience for all parties involved.

Catering liaison and Quality Management:

  • Liaise with third-party food providers to coordinate catering arrangements for group and private hire events
  • Ensuring clear communication with clients and delivery of a high standard on the day.

Marketing and Promotions:

  • Support the marketing team with the day-to-day promotion of group and party packages
  • Help to execute campaigns and keeping promotional collateral up to date

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Work with the venue management teams, with a hands-on approach, to ensure the seamless execution of events, corporate functions, and group bookings to create exceptional experiences for guests.

What We’re looking for:

  • You will have a genuine interest in hospitality excellence and will enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with clients and guests.
  • You enjoy networking and are active on LinkedIn and work-based social accounts.
  • You have a drive for excellence for all things experiential
  • Experience in a sales, events coordination or customer-facing role, with a track record of hitting targets and delivering great client outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • We are open to hearing from candidates from other industries who are genuinely excited by our venue and product and who enjoy working with people.
  • Its important that you have a good knowledge of Dublin and enjoy being part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
